Trinidad can best be explored by rental car. You will pick up your car at the airport and explore the island at your own pace. The pre-booked hotels and guesthouses are ideal bases for excursions. You have the choice: 3 days, 5 days or 7 days, which are ideal to combine with a beach holiday in Tobago.

2 nights in the northwest:
Well-kept hotel at ideal location, Lotus Double room (Poolside) with continental breakfast;
Possible tours:
Excellent start to discover the capital Port of Spain and the Caroni Bird Sanctuary or to get to know the Steel Pan- Yards (by car about 50 min from airport).
Drive along the jungle covered mountains of the northwest coast and visit the beaches of Maracas, Las Cuevas and Blanchisseuse as well as the ASA-Wright Bird Sanctuary.
2 nights on the north coast:
Lodge on the beach of the leatherbacks, double room with continental breakfast;
